A call for applications

A fourth edition of Collegio futuro- an interdisciplinary training aiming to promote dialogue across disciplines and encourage participants to engage in communication with policymakers and civil society - will run under the title:

“Fighting Climate Change, Biodiversity Loss, and Environmental Pollution: Conflicts and Synergies of Different Land Use Options”

PhD students and advanced master's degree students from all disciplines  - natural (physical and life) sciences, social sciences and economics, formal sciences, applied sciences, or humanities - at one of the participating 4EU+ Universities are cordially invited to apply.

Preparatory online sessions: January 2026
Winter school on campus (Heidelberg): 02 - 06 February 2026

Winter school includes four parallel interdisciplinary workshops, each guided by a specific question. These workshops will enable participants to explore specific challenges in depth, engage in interdisciplinary dialogue, connect insights from their respective fields, and collaboratively develop a concept for a policy brief.
